An original vintage Angrave’s ‘Invincible’ wicker and rattan chair, retaining its original maker’s label from Brook Street, Thurmaston, Leicestershire. Beautifully handcrafted with a sculptural high-back design, decorative blue-grey woven detailing and elegant bent cane supports, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship for which Angrave’s became renowned.
The chair is both comfortable and visually striking, making it ideal as a dining chair, occasional chair or statement piece in a conservatory, bedroom or living space. The warm honey-coloured wicker has developed a lovely natural patina over the years, enhancing its character and charm.
Presented in very good vintage condition with light age-related wear consistent with its age and use. A rare, labelled example of classic British wicker furniture.
